Around 8am this morning we passed the Rock of Gibralter. The ship's captain said we were very lucky to see it as it's usually not visible due to fog.
We docked in Malaga at 1:00pm. Our plan was to explore the downtown area by foot in the afternoon, return to the ship to freshen up and then go back into town to have dinner with friends.
Malaga is a lovely city - so much history and beautiful buildings plus great shopping. Here are a few photos from our day and night in Malaga.
Karin, Joe, Larry and I met up with George and Jayne in the evening. George planned our outing which is always a good thing! We had a drink on a rooftop bar and dinner in a tapas restaurant which had musicians and a flamenco dancer for entertainment. It was great to see George and Jayne again - just like old times!! As we strolled back to our car, we got to see Malaga at night ... beautiful!
Tomorrow is a sea day. Next stop - Barcelona.
