Tonight there was a special event for all those who are on the world cruise.
We were taken out to the dunes and our first stop was at Dune 7 which is the highest dune in the area.
From there we headed a bit further into the Namib desert which is the world's oldest. We were greeted by 2 lines of people serving drinks and appetizers.
There were camels, native women selling crafts and a snake charmer!
As the sun set we made our way into a large tent where we ate and enjoyed the local entertainment. After dinner we made out way to the desert to enjoy more more music.
After this very full day we have three days at sea before our next port.

If you look really close, you'll see someone who's climbed almost to the top! |
